At Agile we care about our future and that of our community. We recognise that our actions today can have consequences that help not only those of our own generation but also our future generations. Our children and our grandchildren don't have the freedom that we did as children to access to the unspoiled beauty of our Country. Too often we find them in front of a computer or television, commodities that weren't available to many of us as we grew up. So how can we at Agile help parents to provide activities that can help them get their children out into the natural beauty of our Country and to develop hand skills that can benefit them for the rest of their life.
We have chosen to contribute to the wider Australian community by facilitating the ability to find and enjoy the lapidary hobby of cutting and polishing gemstones, jewellery making, and fossicking for gemstones. We do this through the Australian Lapidary Club Directory where we maintain a list of lapidary clubs and their contacts and also provide details of upcoming gemshows and we have developed and continue to upgrade a website about gemstones at http://www.gemstones.net.au.
